Hello you lovely lot, this post is just a bit of fun, as I recently purchased some face paints for a college project and my friends and I wanted to try them out. As I live with a group of students who also study arty subjects we all love to get creative. We thought it would be fun to spend a night in painting each others faces, attempting some classic designs and making up some of our own. We looked for inspiration on websites such as Pinterest and google images.

I have decided that as it is October next month, which means one thing HALLOWEEN, therefore I am thinking of doing a halloween makeup look post, to give people some inspiration for your own looks.

Here is the results that we came up with the other night, there is quite a variety in theme:

Flowers, by me.

Spring flower, by me.

Tropical Island, by me.

Peacock feather, by Caitlin

Winter, by Caitlin

Ninja turtle, by Amy

Products Snazaroo paints, brushes and sponges.
Everything can be found in their starter kit here.

I hope you like the looks, or at least make you laugh!
They were great fun to do and I cannot wait to start experimenting with halloween looks.
Keep your eyes out for my next post.

Much Love

Hello everyone, now that I am in my new house I felt it was definitely time to try out the bath, as last year I only had a shower in my flat. I thought that this gave me a great excuse to wonder into Lush and have a look at their bath products. I have never really had much experience with Lush products other than the odd christmas present, but I have always wanted to try them out. I have never had a store close to me so the fact there is one in the centre of the city really excites me. I have always presumed that their products would be very pricey as they are vegetarian, some vegan and completely against animal cruelty. Their prices surprised me as they were actually affordable if you take into consideration the amount of effort is put into the production of the products.

I ended up buying two bath ballistics, but I wanted to get so much more. I felt it was a more sensible idea to try some out before splurging on them. I brought Sex Bomb, and Sakura, both are very floral scented. The sex bomb is made up of Jasmine Absolute, Clary Sage Oil and Ylang Ylang Oil. It is a very pretty looking bath bomb, I really like the ombre look it has going from pink to purple. The flowers on the top are also a nice decorative touch. They are almost too nice to use.

I firstly ran myself a nice hot bath and then placed the ballistic into the water and it soon began to fizz and transform the water from clear to bright pink. The flowers on the top of the bath bomb floated on the top of the water surface for almost the whole duration of the bath, it felt like they were made out of a soapy texture. It was a strong smell this one produced, but not overpowering, very sweet and floral, which is exactly what I had hoped for. I shall definitely carry on purchasing Lush products.

Here are some pictures of what colour it made my bath water..

You can get yourself one here
or at your local store.

Hope you enjoyed this review,
Much Love

Hello everyone, so it's September, which means back to college we go! Now that summer is over I have now moved back to Plymouth and into a new house, a shared house. Luckily I get to share it with 5 lovely ladies that I know who also study at PCA. These last few days have been spent unpacking and organising my new bedroom. I really wanted to make this room my own and feel nice and homely, therefore decided to buy some new bedding, curtains and decorative accessories. Of course the decorative accessories had to include fairy lights and bunting!

Over the summer my laptop charger unfortunately broke, therefore I cannot access my laptop, especially as its quite old and I am struggling to find a new charger. My laptop was also completely out of memory and so was my portable hard drive. This called for a serious update in the technology department. As I am studying photography and also enjoy making moving image, film/videos, I felt it was time to convert to an iMac. I am now a proud owner of one and could not be more happy and grateful as I love it.

I apologise for bad image quality, I have not yet unpacked my camera so had to use my iPad.

Bedding and Curtains: Dunelm-mill
Blossom tree: Dunelm-mill
Bunting : Hobby Craft
Fairy lights: Wilkinsons
Photoframe: Pound stretcher
String and pegs: Hobby Craft
Storage boxes: Dunelm-mill and TKMaxx

Hope you like the way I have decorated my room, sorry if girlie is not really you taste.

Stay tuned!
Much Love
