Hello everyone, is it me or has December just flown by? I have been so busy buying so many gifts for my friends and family, I am not complaining though. I love going out on the hunt for different bits and bobs to get everyone that I hope they will love!

During December I went up to stay in Bath with my mum and boyfriend and it was lovely as there was the christmas market stalls and Christmas lights everywhere. We had a lovely short stay but between then and Christmas Day I still had so much to buy and then to wrap up. Can't believe Christmas Day is already been and gone but it has been a lovely holiday! I have seen friends and family, been given wonderful gifts that I am much appreciative of and eaten lots of food and sweeties! I hope you have all had a good holiday too speak soon :)

Here are some pictures I have taken over the last month..

Thanks for checking out this post, keep your eye out for more coming up soon!

Lots of love

Hello lovelies, today I have another bath bomb review. After trying out the couple I brought in september I was desperate to get some more to try, especially as the limited edition Halloween/Christmas collection has came out. Again I just wanted to buy everything but I opted for the Northern Lights bath bomb, the Golden wonder bath bomb and the Bright side bubble bar, which isn't part of the christmas range.

The Northern Lights bath bomb really stood out and intrigued me because of it's shape, it is long and thin instead of the round shapes that I am used to. It is bright purple and has little star shapes on it and is supposed to fill your bath with bright colours. When I went to use mine unfortunately it had broken and crumbled, I am not sure how this happened so I just poured the bag into the bath.

Once I put it in the bath it began to transform the clear water and produced a wonderful smell. Here are some of the photos below, please excuse the quality I used my phone.

I really enjoyed this bath bomb, it smelt amazing, looked amazing and I am so upset that this is a limited edition product. Will have to make the most of this one whilst I can.

I hope that you liked this post and keep an eye out for more!

Hey lovelies, so as you all know I am a student and I live away from home in a shared student house. Now I am not usually one for putting christmas decorations up super early, but I feel as we won't be in this house much of December we have to excuse to make the most of it! I love christmas decorations especially fairy lights, which I usually have all year round haha.

I do have a mini christmas tree but I planned to put that up in my room at my family home. In my student room I have a little blossom tree that has fairy lights wrapped around it, therefore decided to decorate that with mini ball baubles. I love candles all year round but I definitely enjoy them more on a cold winters evening.

Here are some pictures of my room after I have made it all christmassy!

I hope you like my room as much as I do, it now feels super cosy. Stay tuned!

Hello lovelies, so this post is not going to be beauty/fashion related, it is more about my photography work and a recent bit of filming experience I have done. My boyfriend Joe studied Media at University and for his latest project he arranged to collaborate with Paignton Zoo. They wanted him to produce a music video to 'All I want for Christmas is you'. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to assist and help film some behind-the-scenes clips. I just wanted to write a little bit about the experience as I really enjoyed it and thought that some of you may be interested!

For the video we filmed a variety of members of staff and volunteers with some of the animals located in the zoo. This gave us the chance to get closer to the animals and go behind-the-scenes. My favourite part is when we filmed some of the staff feeding the giraffes, as they then allowed us to have a turn after. I never realised just how big they are, their heads are huge! I had great fun and everyone we worked with were very friendly and welcoming.

The video is now available to watch on their YouTube channel I shall leave the link down below. Here are some pictures that I took whilst I was there and also some behind the scenes photographs taken by MotionGrafix.

Here are two photos that a photographer, from MotionGrafix, took who was capturing behind-the-scenes for the zoo, which I am in. All the rights for these two images belong to MotionGrafix.

Hope that you enjoy the video and like my pictures!

Hello lovelies, sorry that I have been distant this month but I have been SUPER busy with collage work and applying to UCAS. My current project is called 'Images and Dreams' and I have decided to go down the fantasy/fairytale root. As my work for this project is fashion based I thought that you may be interested in seeing a few of the images I have produced.

I decided to create a series of images of a girl dressed as 'the queen of the seasons'. I made up this character after looking at different princesses, queens and fairies that are in well-known fairytales. I styled my model thinking about the colours and props that I felt related most to that season. Hopefully when you look at the images you will be able to identify which season they represent. A lot of time and preparation has gone into this project and I hope it has all paid off.

Here are my some of my favourite edited images, enjoy.

Hope you like the images and stay tuned for more posts!

Hello lovelies, halloween is here and it is time to get freaky! We are having a party tonight in our house and all of us are dressing up, going to listen to a halloween themed playlist and dance the night away. We have all picked different characters to dress up as from witches, aliens to dead brides.

I brought a plain black dress and cut it up making the sleeves look choppy and rough and made multiple holes in it. I safety pinned little plastic skeletons to it, I was going to sew them but I thought the safety pins added to the look. I also laddered my tights slightly and accessorised with a choker with a cross on it.
I was not quite sure what I was being, but once I finished my makeup I felt I suited the witch category best. I made myself pale and painted very fine veins all around my mouth and eyes and enhanced the wrinkles on my head by shading them. I braided my hair in to four upside down french plaits the night before and kept them in all day to make my hair full of volume and big and frizzy. When styling my hair I added dry shampoo without rubbing it in so that it would make it appear whiter.

Here are some pictures of the process of creating my final look and some from the party.

I hope that you like the pictures, I had a great night and I hope you had a good time too!

Hello everyone, so now we have hit october it is definitely time to start getting excited about halloween. I love any excuse to dress up and party, but halloween is definitely one of my favourites. I have previously been everything from the classic dead school girl, a cat, witch, vampire etc.

Halloween is not just about dressing up on the one day anymore, now more and more clothing stores are bringing out halloween themed fashion before we even reach october. I have decided to make a little list of some of the pieces that I like that I have found in the 'Halloween trend' section on some stores websites. Links shall be below.

ASOS Heart Skeleton Swing Dress
This dress has to be my favourite out of the pieces I have seen as I like that the halloween theme is not too over the top and the heart keeps it looking feminine.

ASOS Tshirt With Bleached Skeleton Print
I like this top as it could be worn normally or also be used for part of your actual costume. It could be tucked into a skirt, skeleton print trousers/leggins, shorts etc. I feel this could still be worn after halloween if you like the grunge/gothic style.

New Look Red Polka Dot Mesh Top Skater Dress
Halloween is not just all about black, it is also all about the red, bright ruby blood red. This dress is very brightly coloured, making you stand out without having to dress up and making yourself look silly. This look is perfect if you want attention but not too much attention. It is also a piece you could easily wear again. Just add a pair of horns and you have a simple devil outfit!

ASOS Halloween Catsuit In Fang Print
This look is a very fierce one and definitely for someone who is feeling brave. I love the pattern on it, they also do a skirt and top in this design that would be good for someone who wants to wear this casually too. I feel this catsuit may be a bit too dressy for everyday where but would be great for parties.

Topshop's Little Shop of Horrors
If you are still stuck for ideas I would definitely check out Topshops little shop of horrors, they have made a nice halloween mood board. Quite a few pieces in their collection could be worn both day to day and evening at normal occasions not just for halloween, which is good as you want to be able to get your moneys worth of wears!

I hope that you like the few pieces that I picked out and manage to think of a few ideas of what you would like to wear this month or to a party.
Next post will be about face paint/make up designs for halloween!
